Amorin: Tenghach has also encountered problems in the past few years, but the team always performed well in the Cup finals

May 15th When attending the media meeting before the Europa League final, Manchester United coach Amorin talked about the team's situation and preparations.

Talking about facing Premier League teams in the Europa League

"We will face different games. Playing Real Sociedad, Lyon or Bilbao is different from playing Tottenham, but we are ready. The situation in the finals is completely different, and the background is different, and the trophy is right in front of us. We can see the trophy. Although Tenghager has encountered some problems in the past few years, they always perform well when they enter the cup finals. Everyone has seen this. This team has proved that they can improve their performance in the finals."

Why can the team perform well in major games, but not in other games?

"The problem is deeper than what we see on the surface, I understand the situation, I know we are not fighting aimlessly in the Premier League, now we are focusing on the UEFA Cup, but we can't get used to it. So I have to reiterate this every week, I will do it every week, and that's my duty. I'm the head coach of this big club, and it's an issue that is not acceptable. Even in preseason, we need to win."

Talk about whether it's good for the team now to get the Champions League right in the long run

"Unsure whether it's the best option to play in the Champions League is my feeling, and we've explained it very clearly. We need more time to run in the team, we need a lot of things to do in Carrington, not every game is staring at it. Then there's the lineup issue, this year we've proven that if we want to win the European game and be truly competitive in the Premier League, we need a better roster. It's going to be hard, but I feel it."

If we fail to win the Europa League final and make it to the Champions League next season, will it probably not be as bad as it seems?

"That would be very bad, I don't want to use this as an excuse, and if you can't win the game, the patience of the fans and you (the media) will reach the limit. We have to be perfect to move forward, and I understand that very well. So, from this perspective, it's not better."

Will this add to your stress?

"Of course, if we didn't win, the result will be obvious, but I'm not worried about this."

You have had three final experience in Portugal and won all of them. Will there be any different preparations this time?

"I just prepare for the game in the same way, we focus on the details, provide as much information as possible but not overdo it, so I prepare for the game in the only way I know."
