Canadian forward Jonathan David set a goal for his first season of joining Juventus in an interview with the media a few days ago. The new player said he hopes to score 25 goals for the team in the new season.

David, 25, joined Juventus from Ligue 1 Lille this summer, after playing in the Ligue 1 for five seasons and maintaining a good goal record. In the first round of the new Serie A game against Parma, David completed his Serie A debut and scored his first goal within one hour of the game, showing good adaptability.

In the just-concluded international friendly match, David defeated Romania 3-0 for Canada and scored another goal. After the game, he told the Italian media: "I feel good. For the striker, scoring goals in the beginning is always of great significance." David emphasized: "The team's goal is to win as many games as possible. I personally will strive for more goals. 25 goals will satisfy me, but even if I fail to achieve this number, I will still do my best."

Speaking of the journey of multiple events in the new season, David said: "I think the team has the competitiveness of multi-line combat, and we will strive to go further on all fronts." Juventus defeated Parma 2-0 and defeated Genoa 1-0 in the opening stage of the new season's Serie A. After the international match day, the team will usher in a key showdown with Inter Milan.

David specifically pointed out: "We know that this competition has special significance to the season journey and the fan base. The team will do its best to prepare for the game, but this is only the third game of the season, let's wait and see."
