NBA official website FMVP list: SGA overtakes Halliburton and Caruso third

5:17pm, 10 June 2025Basketball

On June 10, with the second game of the NBA Finals ending with the Thunder defeat to the Pacers, the NBA official website also updated the latest FMVP list, and Alexander overtook Halliburton to the top.

1. Alexander

Finals data: 36.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists

Regular season, playoffs, and finals, Alexander's performance on various stages is no different. He can still go to his scoring area and put the ball into the basket in various ways, contributing 30+ points per night. In the first two games of the finals, the Thunder star scored 72 points alone, surpassing the lone hero Allen Iverson in 2001 and becoming the player with the highest score in the first two games of his NBA Finals career.

2. Halliburton

Finals data: 15.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists

It will be more difficult to evaluate Halliburton in this round. In the first half of the two games, Halliburton's presence was very weak, but after entering the second half, he could find some rhythm. After G1 hit a winning goal, Halliburton was regarded as the best player in that game, but from the overall dimension of the two games, the gap between him and Alexander is quite obvious.

3. Caruso

Finals data: 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals, Caruso completed the second game of the finals, his 20 points exceeded the score of any Pacers player, and defense is the part you never have to question Caruso. As a player with a career-wide three-point shooting experience, Caruso has maintained a 41.7% three-point accuracy so far in the playoffs, which makes it easy for him to stay on the court to contribute.

Although he will never be defined as a star player, Caruso has proven himself to be the best supporting role, and he is the best bench player in the finals.

4. Jaylen Williams

Finals data: 18.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists

Sometimes, when the Thunder need to have a second point to stand up and play, Jaylen can respond with beautiful data. But the problem is that it is not stable in performance and makes some low-level mistakes from time to time. However, the Thunder still needs Jaylen's defense, and his fight against Siakam is satisfying.

5. Siakam

Finals data: 17.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists,

The Pacers' offense is the most aggressive, and the player who puts the most pressure on the Thunder is Siakam. His misaligned offense and fast break made the Thunder tense. But in the second game of the finals, Sika only made 3 of 11 shots, which reflects the strength of the Thunder's defense. They can always adapt to and lock the opponent's stars and paralyze the opponent's offense.
