In the third round of the Toulon Cup group stage, the Japanese U20 team faced the Denmark U20 team.

In the first two rounds of the game, Japan first defeated Congo, and then was tied by Mexico in regular time, losing to Mexico in penalty shootouts, while Denmark first drew with Mexico in regular time, defeated Mexico in penalty shootouts, and then defeated Congo.

Overall, Denmark is in better shape than Japan. However, before the game, 70% of fans were full of confidence in the Japanese team defeating the Denmark team.

In the first half, the Japanese goalkeeper played with fire and the ball was cut off. Then the Danish player pushed the ball into an empty goal. In the 79th minute, the Denmark team scored a free kick, hit the crossbar and then hit the back of the Japanese goalkeeper Kuiyu Nakamura. Finally the ball bounced into the net. The Japanese goalkeeper was so unlucky that he scored his own own.

6 minutes later, the Denmark counterattacked, and the backcourt player sent a long-distance pass, then he led the player into the right side of the penalty area and sent a cross pass. The player who surrounded the ball made a close shot in front of the goal, and the Denmark secured the victory.
