"Nezha Cup" Campus Football Tournament Starts

With the 2024-2025 season of Tianjin Hexi District "Nezha Cup" Campus Football League, the 9-month home and away game competition has brought a high-level campus football feast to teachers and students across the district. Nowadays, the event has not diminished popularity. Not long ago, the Hexi District "Nezha Cup" campus football match was launched in the Hengjun Football Training Base, continuing the league craze and starting a new journey of campus football.

There are 6 groups in primary school men's group A, men's group B, women's group A, women's group B, junior high school and high school. A total of 71 teams from all primary and secondary schools in Hexi District participated in the competition, with a wide coverage and high participation, which fully reflects the deep foundation of campus football in Hexi District.

Unlike the league's home and away system, the cup is a single-winning system, with the winner advancing and the loser being eliminated. Every game is a "battle of the back", full of suspense and variables. This competition system not only enhances the tension and viewing of the game, but also greatly tests the team's on-the-spot adaptability and psychological quality, and can also inspire students' enthusiasm for competitive spirit and fighting spirit. Among the participating teams are both "old-established teams" who have just finished their league journey and are experienced, as well as emerging forces that are full of vitality for the first time. During the game, all teams faced a new test.

It is worth mentioning that this Cup will award trophy to teams that won the top three in the 2024-2025 campus league, commending their outstanding performance and unremitting efforts in the campus football field over the past year.

Since 2024, under the promotion of the Hexi District Education Bureau, District Sports Bureau and District Football Association, the construction of the campus football system in Hexi District has been continuously deepened and development has reached a new level. From May to June every year, Hexi District will hold the "Nezha Cup" campus football competition, providing a platform for schools at all levels and types in the district to show themselves and hone their skills. Teams with excellent performance will have the opportunity to advance to the campus football league held from September to May of the following year, providing students with a more professional game experience and further creating a positive atmosphere for campus football.
