October 4th: The Argentine national team announced a new list of rosters, with River Plate's 21-year-old defender Lautaro Rivero being selected. Argentine media TYC Sports published an article introducing Rivero.

Rivero was born in poverty and grew up with five siblings. He often played football in the open space in the community with his friends, and later played briefly at Villa Luro Norte and LaVictoria clubs, and joined Riverbed at the age of 14.

Two years ago, Rivelo was selling alfajores (a kind of sandwich cookie) on the street.

In an interview with Riverbed in 2022, Rivelo said: "We are very humble and hardworking. First of all, I hope my family can live a better life and have everything they deserve.

I want to see my mom, dad and brothers live a good life. Thank them, I can fight here every day. I have overcome many difficulties, and I will do my best for them." In 2024, Rivelo entered Riverbed's first team and was later loaned to the Córdoba Central Club. He returned to Riverbed after loan in May this year and has made 9 appearances for Riverbed in various competitions.
