Hupu News on October 23 that Jerome Boateng may be about to return to Bayern Munich as part of an internship program, which continues to make Bayern Munich fans angry. Fans also held banners in protest against Club Brugge, as they did against Dortmund.

"Against abuse of power and physical and psychological violence in relationships," reads a banner in the South Stand. Over the weekend, fans had already sent out the message "Whoever gives the perpetrator space will bear his culpability."

Boateng and Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany recently publicly announced that the former player will observe some of Bayern Munich's training sessions. A spokesman for the club later said this would be approved.

Many fans were troubled by this behavior. The reason for the rejection was the long-running court case against Boateng, with accusations against the former world champion that he assaulted and insulted his ex-girlfriend. In the end, Boateng was fined 200,000 euros and he was warned by the competent court. Legally speaking, Boateng is not considered to have a criminal record.

"It has nothing to do with employment, nothing to do with a permanent position at Bayern Munich, it's just a matter of watching training sessions. We would be in favor of that, we feel it's not a problem," said sporting director Max Eberl.
