Lakers superstar LeBron James once again made it clear in an exclusive interview with the Hollywood Reporter that he was unlikely to play in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

In the interview, the reporter mentioned James' past Olympic participation experience. In 2008 and 2012, James helped the US team win the Olympics successfully. In 2016 and 2020, James chose to rest, but the US team still won gold medals in these two Olympic Games. By the 2024 Paris Olympics, James will come back to participate and help the US team win gold again. After the game, James revealed that it is unlikely to participate in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, and the reporter asked if there are new changes now.
In response, James responded: "Nothing has changed, brother. It's already 2025 now, right? I'm not kidding, it's really not changing. If I had to think about this matter carefully now, I can say with certainty that I will support the United States in my life, and there is no doubt that I will support the United States in my life. But I think it's unlikely to ask me to participate again. I have given everything to the national team, and I will always be grateful, loyal to the United States and American basketball in the future, and continue to contribute to it."
As a legend in the basketball world, every decision of James has attracted much attention. Although he is unlikely to play in the 2028 Olympics, his support and love for Team America will remain the same. Fans are also looking forward to James continuing to shine for his basketball career in other fields.
