Official: NBA will launch new streaming service and NBA TV to provide 24/7 digital experience

October 13th, the NBA officially announced that it will launch a new multi-platform streaming service and re-build NBATV. Starting from October 16th (Thursday), it will provide uninterrupted basketball content and original programs.
Through the NBA app, the streaming platform and NBATV will provide a rich collection of live games, programs, highlights and original content, jointly becoming the home of global basketball.
Sarah Zuckert, NBA Senior Vice President and Head of NBA Apps, said "NBATV and the NBA App are designed to be the global connected hub for basketball coverage, providing non-stop live games, original programming and exclusive behind-the-scenes content. The NBA App streaming platform will provide fans with a seamless, 24/7 digital experience that they can access 24 hours a day, 365 days a year."
