Phoenix Suns held the team's media day event in the new season. During the event, the team's new backcourt Jalen Green was interviewed by reporters, and he also talked about his offensive philosophy with the team's new head coach Jordan Ott and his training mission in the offseason.

Green said: I think the space on the court is the most important and will have an impact on the team's offensive quality. Ultra also emphasized this to me. He also told me that I hope the team can have a broader space on the offensive end. I think this is the game style we want. This is also the offensive feature we need to try in the new season, and space is almost the key to everything. All we have to do is to attack quickly, go all out, and keep running on the field. Speaking about the offseason training task, Green continued: I spent the entire offseason working hard to practice mid-range shooting and learning how to read the game. My opponents have been limiting my three-point shooting and close-frame finishes before, so I need to find more offensive means on the court to deal with their defense, and my goal is to be a more comprehensive offensive player in the playoffs. If I can maintain a steady mid-range shooting percentage, the opponent's focus on my defensiveness will change, and myself and my teammates will be able to get more space and better scoring opportunities on the field.

In the NBA regular season last season, Green maintained a full attendance of 82 games. During his 32.9 minutes of playing time, Green averaged 21 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks, and had 2.5 turnovers and 1.5 fouls. He shot 42.3% from the field, 35.4% from three-point shooting percentage and 81.3% from free throws. In the playoffs, Green played 7 games in total, with averaging 31.3 minutes per game, averaging 13.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.3 blocks. He also had 1.4 turnovers and 0.9 fouls. His shooting percentage was 37.2%, his three-point shooting percentage was 29.5%, and his free throw shooting percentage was 66.7%.

This summer, Green was sent to the Suns by his old team Rockets in a deal involving Kevin Durant. According to previous news, Green may become the starting point guard for the Suns in the new season, and he also needs to assume a lot of responsibilities and tasks on the offensive end, and his performance will largely determine the Suns' record and performance in next season. Next, we can also see what kind of performance Green will perform in the new season. Before, everyone disagrees with his performance and his progress. Can he achieve a huge rebound in performance in the new season?
