Daignault: Excellent performance on both offense and defense in the opening game, but there were some deviations in the style of play in the second quarter

In the NBA preseason game on October 10, the Thunder defeated the Hornets 122-116. After the game, coach Daignault was interviewed.

Talking about the game, Daignault said: "We performed very well on both ends of the offense and defense in the opening period. Our performance in the first quarter was a good continuation of the state we had in the training camp; but in the second quarter, we had some deviations in the positioning of our game style - this may be caused by fatigue, or there may be many other reasons. However, I think we were in excellent condition in the first quarter and the overall performance was very impressive."

In the first quarter, the Thunder led 31-21. The Thunder scored 33 points in the second quarter and the Hornets scored 36 points.
