Cole: First of all, I am happy for Jonathan. Maybe this contract is not his most ideal, but it is the amount that can change his life. I'm really happy for him and his family. Our goal is to help him improve, help him become the kind of player he has the potential to become, and then sign more such contracts. This is something he needs to focus on, and it is something I need to focus on - improving his ability to help the team on the court.

There was indeed a problem in the past, that is, there is a gap between what the team needs and what he wants to do, which is undeniable. But it is also undeniable that he has his own place in this team. We lack a big man and athletic wing player like him. But the truth is that our offense will revolve around Stephen and Jimmy, and it’s clear that they are two of the top players in the league and they can create opportunities for their teammates.

So for JK, the more he can contribute through active defense, rebounds and fast breaks, the greater his chances of gaining playing time. Everyone has a different pace of progress and may suddenly trigger changes. But these are what I will always ask him to do.
