July 25th News Recently, Stephen Curry talked about his experience of trying to talk trash to Kobe Bryant during his rookie season.
Curry said: "It was a home game at Oracle Arena. They were leading at the time. I remember that at the end of the game, they were about 6 points ahead. We started using foul tactics. He was about to go to the free throw line. I walked past him and said, 'Hey, are you nervous?'
"So the look he gave me is still imprinted in my mind... First of all, what he thought in his heart was definitely a rookie who actually dared to talk to me; secondly, am I nervous? What the hell are you talking about? I even looked forward to him going to the free throw line like Jordan, then blindfolded or closed his eyes, and then looked at me and said, 'Rookie, this ball is for you'. I think that's what Jordan said at the time.
"But the look he gave me said it all. That look was like saying 'Hey, you just came here, be honest'."
