Choose one of two? Will the Lakers chase the Bucks veteran inside player and the Hawks inside player this summer?

NBA well-known journalist Keith Smith recently talked about some of the dynamics that may happen to the Los Angeles Lakers in the following offseason in a show. Smith made it clear: The Lakers will definitely sign a reliable inside player this summer. Smith continued: The Lakers should choose the kind of center who is good at pick-and-roll. I don't know which player it will be, maybe it's Brook Lopez or maybe it's Clint Capela. In contrast, I think Capela's style of playing may be more suitable for the Lakers, but Lopez is also a good choice. Anyway, one thing is certain, they will definitely create an inside player. There is one thing in common between the two players Capela and Lopez, both of them will become full free agents this summer, and they can sign with either team. Although the Lakers do not have any salary space for direct signing of these two players, they can also try to sign first and then exchange to get these two players. Of course, it is still an unknown number of what chips they will give to these two players.

In the NBA regular season this season, Lopez made a total of 80 appearances in 82 games, averaging 31.8 minutes per game, averaging 13 points, 5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.9 blocks, and 1.1 turnovers and 2.1 fouls. He shot 50.9%, three-point shooting percentage 37.3%, and free throw shooting percentage 82.6%. In the playoffs, Lopez played 5 games in total, with averaging 14.8 minutes per game, with averaging 5 points, 1.6 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 1 block, and 0.8 turnovers and 2.2 fouls. His shooting percentage was 36.4%, his three-point shooting percentage was 26.7%, and his free throw shooting percentage was 100%.

In the NBA regular season this season, Capela played a total of 55 games in 82 games, with a total of 21.4 minutes per game, with an average of 8.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.1 blocks, and 0.9 turnovers and 1.9 fouls, with a shooting percentage of 55.9% and a free throw percentage of 53.6%. Affected by injuries, Capela has been free from the game since March, and he also missed the team's play-off game.

The two players are actually veterans whose condition has declined. Lopez's performance during the playoffs was a mess, and it can even be said that to a large extent, the Milwaukee Bucks where he was eliminated in the first round. As for Capela, he also lost the starting position from the middle of the season. Relatively speaking, Capela is younger and his deterioration is not that obvious, so he can also take on some responsibilities. As for Lopez, no matter how he looks, he doesn’t seem to be suitable for the current Lakers system, right?
