After the end of the Men's Basketball European Championship, the US media fully recognized the excellent performance of NBA Rockets center Shin Kyung and Magic forward Wagner Jr. in the European Championships, and directly posted a message to question the Warriors' missed two real future stars in the draft that year.

At the 2021 draft, the Warriors selected forward player Kumingga with their No. 7 draw and defender Moody with the No. 14 draw, but the Rockets chose Shin Kyung with the No. 16 draw, while the Magic chose Wagner Jr. Now Shin Kyung and Wagner Jr. are both shining in the NBA and European Championships, and are both selected as All-Stars. The Warriors and Kumingga's contract renewal drama is still being staged throughout the offseason. No wonder the American media questioned the Warriors' draft vision that year, because they could have defeated Shin Kyung and Wagner Jr.

In this men's basketball European Championship, Rockets center Shin Kyung averaged 21.6 points + 10.1 rebounds + 6.6 assists + 1.0 steals + 1.1 blocks per game, with a shooting percentage of 55.0%; Magic forward Wagner Jr. averaged 20.9 points + 5.9 rebounds + 3.4 assists per game in 9 series games, with a shooting percentage of 46.4%. Both of them were successfully selected into the European Championships and will continue to output stably on the NBA stage in the new season.
