Hupu News November 05, UEFA Champions League, Arsenal defeated Slavia Prague 3-0. After the game, Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta was interviewed by CBS Sports.

The team has won ten consecutive games. How satisfied are you with the team's performance?

Arteta: Very happy. This is a tough away game, they haven't lost at home so far this season. We knew that this game would be fierce and fast-paced. Their style of play was very direct and could easily put the game into an uncontrollable situation. But from a mentality point of view, we handled it very well and were efficient enough when we should be efficient. We deserve this victory.

What are you most satisfied with tonight’s performance?

Arteta: When the rhythm of the game was deviated by the opponent, we did not become impatient, nor did we do things that we should not have done when facing this team that played directly, focused on vertical impact and was man-to-man throughout the game.

Obviously, the team tied a club record-eight consecutive games without seals, a record that has existed since 1903. And you didn't even allow your opponent to complete a shot on target in this game. What do you think of this?

Arteta: Yes, very satisfied. That penalty could have been the key to breaking the clean sheet, but I think it was the right call. But it once again showed our consistency - against a team that only needed two passes to create a chance, we still controlled all defensive aspects of the game. Overall, the performance tonight was still very good.

Tonight, despite the absence of many main players, the team still easily won the game. You must be very satisfied with the current rotation depth of the team's lineup and the players' stepping up, right?

Arteta: Very satisfied. Because tonight compared to the weekend game, we rotated four players and they all performed very well. We brought in Max (Dauman), who made his Champions League debut and I think is one of the youngest players in the history of the team to play in the Champions League. And Andre (Annus), and some other players, the rotation will give them a rest. So overall it was a very rewarding night.

Obviously, tonight is a proud night for the club. The youth academy has produced so many players for the team. Andre Harriman (Annus) and Max Daumann are also on the pitch. You see them training every day. How do you think they perform at the highest level of European football?

Arteta: Excellent. There is no more difficult competition than the Champions League, and the 15-year-old Max dares to take the ball as soon as he comes on the court, dares to break through with the ball, and can also cause opponents to foul. This reflects the psychological quality of these young people. So it's great to see them embark on this journey with us, and I hope they continue to improve.

I saw you turn around with a big smile on your face after he was fouled for the first time. Presumably he often does this in training, and is easily fouled by his opponents, right?

Arteta: Yes. Because of his playing style, it is easy for him to attract personal confrontation from his opponents. He is very good at seizing the opportunity and completing the ball at the moment when the opponent comes to defend. There is no doubt that he will become a very good player.
