Recommendation Network reported on June 23 that according to the Telegraph, the Premier League Brighton Club has made an offer of about £20 million to Flamengo's right-back Wesley Lima. The 21-year-old Brazilian teenager not only attracted Brighton's attention, but also made Manchester City favor him.
Wesley-Lima has had a rumor with Chelsea before, but Chelsea currently has no plans to introduce him because the right-back position is not within their adjustment range. Brighton took the lead and handed the offer to Flamengo. Flamenco is open to selling Wesley-Lima, and they know that the players are willing to go to Europe and compete in the Premier League.
However, Flamengo is currently preparing for the Club World Cup and regards the event as an important goal for winning the championship, so they will suspend the sale of players before the end of the Club World Cup. It is not yet certain whether they will accept Brighton's offer.
Manchester City is also paying close attention to Wesley Lima, seeing him as Kyle Walker's long-term successor. Previously, Guardiola had tried Nunes and Rico-Lewis on the right. In addition to Wesley Lima, Manchester City is also focusing on Newcastle's Livramento and Juventus' Cambiaso, while Ashraf of Paris Saint-Germain has largely given up because the possibility of signing him is slim.
