In the Champions League group match that ended in the early morning of November 5, Bayern Munich defeated Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 on the field. However, after the game, Bayern defender Josip Stanisic's "joke" caused an uproar on French social media and aroused strong dissatisfaction among Paris fans.

During the game, Paris right back Achraf Hakimi suffered a serious injury. Bayern forward Luis Dias made a fierce tackle that directly brought down Achraf. The referee immediately showed him a red card and sent him off. Ashraf fell to the ground in pain with an obvious injury to his left ankle. He eventually left the field on crutches in tears, with his ankle already fixed in a protective bandage. This scene became the most heartbreaking scene in this round of the Champions League.

However, in the mixed interview area after the game, when Stanisic faced reporters' questions about the foul, he said lightly: "We have to thank him (laughing)... I'm just kidding! In fact, he was quite happy, like all of us." He also added that Dias did not apologize to Ashraf afterwards.

As soon as this statement came out, it immediately triggered a strong backlash in French public opinion. Many Paris fans accused Stanisic of being "indifferent" and "lack of basic respect" and believed that it was extremely inappropriate to make such a joke when their opponent was seriously injured and left the field. RMC, a well-known French sports media, directly criticized this as "an inappropriate ridicule" and pointed out: "The Croatian player admitted that his teammate was in danger of fouling, but at the same time found it funny, which is really unacceptable."

In sharp contrast to Stanisic's attitude, other members of the Bayern team showed due empathy. Captain Manuel Neuer and head coach Vincent Kompany have both expressed concern over Achraf's injury. Kompany even compared this injury to the injury Musiala suffered in the Club World Cup, and publicly sent his blessings and hoped that Ashraf would recover soon.

According to the latest report from the Paris Saint-Germain club, Ashraf's injury is not as serious as initially feared. An initial examination showed an ankle sprain, and he is expected to return to the field in about five weeks.

Despite this, in the hearts of Paris fans, the rough foul and the subsequent frivolous "joke" have deeply hurt their emotions. This turmoil may not subside quickly with the end of the game.
