Less Sports reported on September 6 that the La Liga has not yet approved the battle of Barcelona vs. Valencia to be held at the Cruyff Stadium.
Although there have been reports that Barcelona's match against Valencia will be held at the John Cruyff Stadium, La Liga noted that the decision has not been officially approved. A spokesperson for the
alliance said that "positive progress" has been made, but several procedures are still required before finalization. According to La Liga regulations, the venue will undergo a comprehensive audit and review within next week. Barcelona needs to wait for the evaluation results before they can finally determine the host stadium of this game.
