Media revealed that Real Madrid regards Arsenal central defender Saliba as the number one target.
Real Madrid has been paying attention to Saliba's development for several seasons, and his contract expires in 2027. Real Madrid will try to introduce Saliba in the coming months, or at the latest in the summer of 2026, hoping that he will become the leader of the defensive.
Saliba is close to Mbappe, and both players played for Bondi when they were young.
To convince Saliba, Arsenal has offered him a contract extension and hopes to provide strong reasons to prove to him that he is likely to lead the Gunners to the championship. Arsenal does not want to give up any core player this summer and has made it clear that it will not set any price for possible transfers.
