Polish coach Probé recently made a decision to deprive Lewandowski of captainship and appoint Inter Milan midfielder Jelinsky as the new captain. Lewandowski then stated, "As long as Pro is still coaching another day, I will not play for Poland." Jelinski said at the press conference, "I don't want to evaluate Lewandowski's decision. We know he is an excellent player. This is a decision made by the head coach, and I respect this decision. Players who are willing to play for the country will play for the team. In my opinion, the national team is the most important, and I will contribute everything to the national team."
