Official: Bill Nicholson s goal is officially reopening at Tottenham Hotspur s new stadium

July 25th, Tottenham announced on the club's official website that the famous Bill Nicholson's goal was officially reopened at Tottenham's new stadium.

This iconic black and gold iron gate has been properly preserved since its demolition in 2015 and has finally returned to their original location. Club president Levi and Bill's daughter Jen Bell co-chaired the ceremony. Also attending the ceremony were members of the club's board of directors, Bill's friends and family, representatives of the fan advisory board, representatives of supporters' trust funds, and many players from the Bill era, such as Steve Perryman, Cliff Jones, Pat Jennings, etc.

These gates were once symbols of White Hart Lane Stadium, especially a photo taken by Peter Robinson. In the photo, Bill held the gate with his hand and became a classic picture in the hearts of countless fans. This photo is now enlarged and displayed on the background board in the new location, providing fans with an excellent photo opportunity.

Levi said at the reopening ceremony: "We are honored to be at this historic moment with Bill's family, friends and his former players. Generations of fans, players and staff have entered the White Hart Lane Stadium through this gate, which has great historical and cultural significance."

Bill's daughter Jen Bale also expressed her gratitude to the club and mentioned her father's pride for Bettenham Hotspur. She hopes the new position will give fans the opportunity to take photos with the gate, recall the good times of the past, and inspire the younger generation to understand the club's history.

Bill Nicholson first crossed the gate in 1936 to become a trial player, later becoming a key player for the team and eventually becoming one of the most successful head coaches in the club's history, winning eight important trophies. Today, these gateways will be part of the club’s heritage tour, leading visitors to gain insight into the glorious history of the club and its location.

Meanwhile, Peter Robinson's iconic photos are on display at OOF Gallery, and the exhibition will last until August 31. In addition, a large signed photo will be auctioned for a charitable auction, and the proceeds will be donated to the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation and the Tottenham Tribute Trust.
