"Gazzetta dello Sport" stated that Yildiz did not travel with the team to the away game because his knee needed rest, but stayed in Turin to recover to his best physical condition. Kelly was unable to participate due to back discomfort. He played in all 12 games before Juventus this season, totaling 1,080 minutes.

Yildiz and Kelly are important players on both offense and defense for Juventus this season. Their absence is a big loss for new Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti's debut. However, "Gazzetta dello Sport" pointed out that both Yildiz and Kelly are expected to return in the Champions League game next Tuesday.

Considering that Spalletti's time in office is limited, Juventus may continue to use the previous three-back formation in this round of Serie A, playing 352 or 3421.
