Liverpool s conditions to release Elliott: either Isaac joins or give enough money

6:55am, 30 August 2025Football

Hupu, August 29, reporter Ben Jacobs reported that according to his understanding, Liverpool is unlikely to approve the sale of Harvey Elliott unless one of the following two conditions is met: one is that Alexander Isaac joins the team, and the other is that he receives a high offer that cannot be refused.

Leipzig's Marcel Schefel is currently in contact with Liverpool, but Jurgen Klopp is not involved in any negotiations. As of Friday morning, Leipzig has not made a formal offer, but that could change as Xavi Simmons is about to join Tottenham.

It is reported that the value of Taylor Debring (£40 million), Mattus Fernandez (£38 million), Jacob Ramsey (£40 million or more), Omari Hutchinson (£37.5 million) and Malik Tillman (£40 million) are all regarded as reference standards for measuring Elliott's valuation.

Liverpool is hesitant to approve Elliott's departure unless a new attacker joins, or Leipzig will sell most of the £50 million from Simmons to bring in Elliott. Elliott has multi-position adaptability, which means that if he stays on the team, he will still be regarded as a valuable rotation player.
