La Liga and Xizu Chain Technology launch innovative Web3 fan community in China: LALIGA CLUB

On May 28, 2025, La Liga and Xizu Chain Technology Development (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xizu Chain Technology) reached a cooperation agreement to launch its innovative scientific and technological project in China: LALIGA CLUB. This is China's first such fan interaction platform based on Web3. Through the integration of online platforms and offline space, it creates a new community-driven fan interaction experience. Based on a distributed model, the platform supports fans to connect, interact and develop their respective fan communities. The signing ceremony was held at the Wangfujing Wangfu Center in Beijing. The guests attended the event included representatives of the Dongcheng District Government of Beijing, including Mr. Chen Xiansen, Deputy District Mayor Ren Jianghao, Xizulian Technology Board of Directors and Beijing Wangfu Center management, as well as a visiting delegation to China led by Javier Tebas, Chairman of La Liga, and Sergi Torrents, Executive Director of La Liga Greater China, La Liga Greater China.

The core of the platform is a fan community ecosystem powered by Web3 technology. It is based on a fan-led "society" structure and covers fans of 42 clubs under La Liga, each club will be built around different interest topics.

LALIGA CLUB fan community project has a number of pioneering functions, representing a new stage of the cultural development of Chinese fans. It achieves a truly immersive experience by combining online interaction with offline activities, including fan activities, flashlights, theme displays, and offline community spaces.

In addition, the platform has introduced an incentive mechanism of "making money while playing" and "making money while shopping", encouraging fans to receive rewards through games, participation in interaction, content creation and community construction. The platform will also have a decentralized market, where fans can freely trade collections, experiences and services between and within the clubs. At the same time, the platform has also introduced a community governance mechanism to provide fans with tools such as voting, proposals, and initiating projects, promoting semi-autonomous operations of the club, enhancing real connections between fans, enhancing stickiness and opening up new revenue models.

The community self-drive structure based on 42 La Liga clubs will also help small and medium-sized clubs to gain more exposure opportunities and practice the concepts of La Liga "inclusiveness" and "competitive balance". This is also an important strategic goal under the framework of "BOOST LALIGA".
