British media reported that Inter Milan had informal inquiries about Hoylen and Manchester United did not actively seek to sell Hoylen.
Hoylen joined Manchester United from Serie A club Atalanta in August 2023 for a transfer fee of £72 million, and Manchester United paid Atalanta an initial fee of £64 million, with signs that it may take about €45-50 million to convince Manchester United to sell.
Inter Milan initially tends to sign him on loan first, but United may insist on selling directly, hoping to raise cash to reinvest in Ruamorin's side.
Despite his poor performance this season, Hoylen has received good reviews within Serie A, and Inter Milan is not the only team to be interested in.
