On September 27, 2025, Danish striker Rasmus Hoylund, who was loaned to Naples from Manchester United, made a clear statement that he hoped to stay in Serie A team Naples for a long time.

In an interview with Italian Le Republic, the 22-year-old striker admitted that he felt very comfortable and happy under coach Conte. He said: "I left Denmark when I was a child and went to Austria to play football. At the age of 22, I have had a lot of experience, but now I am in Naples and I plan to stay here for a long time."

When asked about AC Milan's interest in him this summer, Hoylund emphasized again: "What I know is that I am very happy in Naples now." These words clearly show his willingness to stay in the team.

Under the lease agreement, Naples will force a buyout of Hoylund for a fixed price of 44 million euros next summer as long as specific conditions are met. At the same time, Manchester United coach Ruben Amorin has also made an advance plan, signing striker Benjamin Sheshko from Leipzig for 76 million euros as a potential replacement for Hoylund.

Since joining Conte's team, Hoylund has performed well, helping Napoli to win four consecutive victories in the first four rounds of Serie A in the new season. Italian media also praised the Danish international for showing confidence and ability to quickly integrate into the new team.

In the 2022/23 season, Hoylund played for Atlanta, scoring 10 goals in 34 appearances, showing great potential.

Next, Hoylund will challenge AC Milan away with the team on September 29, and this 5th round of Serie A has attracted much attention.
