German media: Bayern has enough money to sign Wilz, and will focus on signing the defensive leader & Kane s substitute is not a priority

On May 8, German media Munich Daily reported that Bayern senior executives have put forward high work requirements for sports director Ebert. The team's signing plan this summer not only includes introducing Werz, but also needs to find a defensive leader, and also reduce salary costs.

In a post-match interview last Saturday, sports director Ebert had just publicly announced that his contract renewal with Sane has been basically finalized, but the next day he was told that Sane had changed his agent. The report said that mistakes like this and the previous handling of Mueller's non-renewal of the contract have put Eber in a repeatedly disadvantaged position in public.

The club's evaluation of him is more specific: after all, he successfully renewed his contract with Davis, Musiara and Kimmich. Although the conditions for these contract renewals are not cheap, he avoided significant losses in the value of the lineup caused by free transfers from top players. In addition, his signing target Douai has also developed strongly in Paris Grande last summer.

Therefore the conclusion inside the club is that not everything is good in his job, but not everything is bad. Next Monday, Eber will report to the club's supervisory board about his plans for this summer's transfer window. But after experiencing the previous two transfer windows, the senior executives’ expectations for him are: they have to go further.

The first goal is undoubtedly: to introduce Wiltz. Eber has kept a low profile in public so far, while Heness and Rummenigge have repeatedly made public favors to the Leverkusen star over the past few months. Although there are many speculations about the shrinking of Bayern's fixed deposit account, according to the Munich Daily, Bayern still has enough funds to complete the transfer.

And: Heness is closely related to the player's father and agent Hans Werz. Therefore, Bayern has already discussed the possible position in the tactical system of coach Kompany. Since Real Madrid needs to save money and tend to be sign-free, Bayern currently has only Manchester City, a real competitor for Wiltz.

Another signing focus of Bayern this summer is finding a defensive leader for the new season. Jonatan Ta is an attractive option for Bayern as he will be a free agent this summer, with the German international able to play the central role among four defenders, while Borussia Mönchengladon Hitokura is more like a supplementary player.

Eber and his chief scout Niels Schmattec have both had a good relationship with Borussia Mönchengladbach due to their working background, but from the perspective of achieving stability in the defense line, Kazura Ichikura may not be a key candidate. Whether it is looking for the core of the defense line or making a transfer to Werz, Eber must take into account the financial situation.

In order to achieve this summer's transfer plan, Bayern also needs to raise funds by selling players, while also reducing salary levels by at least 20% - this is the clear goal proposed by the Supervisory Board for Eber. According to the Munich Daily, finding Kane's substitute is not a priority.

After all, the England international played almost every start and was able to press the opponent from beginning to end in the game, which is what the coaching staff value. Therefore, Bayern's funds should be invested in other positions in the team.
