ESPN: Rozier was ordered to pay $8.2 million in back taxes in 23 years, the same year he was accused of gambling.

October 29th According to ESPN reports, Rozier personally owed $8.2 million in tax arrears and was chased by the federal government for tax repayment in 23 years.

The IRS filed a lien lawsuit against Rozier in November 2023, showing that its "unpaid tax balance" for the 2021 tax year was $8,218,211. Rozier's huge tax arrears were recovered in the same year that Rozier was accused of participating in sports betting.

The previous indictment regarding Rozier’s alleged gambling on football stated: “On March 23, 2023, while playing for the Hornets, Rozier disclosed to those close to him in advance that he planned to leave the game early due to injury. These related people subsequently bet more than 200,000 US dollars on Rozier’s bets, and the profit bonus was subsequently sent to Rozier’s residence.”
