Borussia Monchengladbach official: Interim coach Polanski becomes permanent and the two parties renew the contract until 2028

On November 18th, local time, on Tuesday, Borussia Monchengladbach officially announced that interim coach Eugen Polanski would become a regular and he signed a contract until 2028.
Eugen Polanski has served as the interim coach of Borussia Monchengladbach's first team since the fourth round of the season. Club officials stated that the two parties have now reached an agreement to renew the contract until 2028.
Mönchengladbach sporting director Reuven Schröder said: "We are very pleased to have reached an agreement with Eugen and the two parties had open, constructive and mutually respectful discussions. He impressed us from the beginning with his professionalism and charisma, and we believe that with him as head coach, we can continue the good momentum we have had in recent weeks."
Eugen Polanski said: "I I have never concealed that serving as the head coach of my hometown club means a lot to me. I feel extremely happy and proud to be the head coach of Borussia Monchengladbach. The trust of the club’s senior management in me is a great encouragement to me and an affirmation of the efforts of the entire team.”
Polanski played for Borussia Monchengladbach as a youth training player and professional player, and joined the youth training coaching staff of Borussia Monchengladbach in 2018. He has served as the coach of the U17 and second teams. He took over the first team of Borussia Monchengladbach on September 15 this year and achieved a record of 3 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses in the 8 games he led. The team is currently ranked 12th in the Bundesliga standings.
