Celtics refuse to trade Derek White

According to Clutch Points reporter Brett Segal, several teams offered offers to Celtic star Derek White, one of which included two first-round picks and a draft pick swap, but was rejected by the Celtics.

31-year-old White played the best performance of his career last season, playing in 76 games, all starting, and averaged a career-high 16.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, plus 4.8 assists and 1.1 blocks.

The Trail Blazers signed Blake Wesley

According to ESPN reporter Shams Charania, the Portland Trail Blazers officially signed free agent defender Blake Wesley. While financial details of Wesley's contract with Portland have not been released yet, NBA insiders say he is likely to sign a $2 million base salary contract.

Wesley was the No. 25 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, and played for the Spurs in the first three seasons of his career. He played in 156 games in his career, started four times, averaged 4.3 points, 1.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and played 14.3 minutes. Last season, Wesley played 58 games for the Spurs, averaging 3.7 points, 1.1 rebounds and 2.0 attacks per game, playing 11.8 minutes, shooting percentage of 43.5% and three-point shooting percentage of 29.3%.

The Warriors reached an agreement with two NBA free agents

According to ClutchPoints' Bretts' Bretts Segal, the Golden State Warriors have reached an agreement with two free agents Al Horford and D'Anthony Melton, and the formal contract is expected to be signed in the next few days. However, he also mentioned that the Warriors' negotiations did not go as smoothly as expected.

Melton played 6 games for the Warriors in the 2024-25 season, but his performance was mediocre, averaging 10.3 points per game and a three-point shooting percentage of 37.1%.

The Kings are still interested in Russell Westbrook, although the Sacramento Kings' backcourt lineup is already very bloated, but the team remains interested in free agent veteran defender Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook played 75 games for the Denver Nuggets last season, starting in 36 games, averaging a career low of 13.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game. He played 27.9 minutes, shooting percentage of 44.9% and three-point shooting percentage of 32.3%.

Teams are no longer willing to provide first-round picks for Lakers player Dalton Knecht

Lakers team reporter Yowan Buha recently reported that the value of Dalton Knecht's trading has declined, and other teams in the league are no longer willing to provide first-round picks for the 24-year-old.

In the first round of the 2024 NBA Draft, the Lakers selected Dalton Knecht from the University of Tennessee with the No. 17 draw. The team has high hopes for the top scorer from college, who shot 39.7% from three-pointers in his final season in college.

The Rockets signed the league's top stealer, and Kevin Durant's scoring pressure increased dramatically

The Houston Rockets continued to be active in the offseason and added another defensive player. Today, the Rockets signed guard Josh Okogie with a one-year contract of $3.1 million, further strengthening the outside defense. The 26-year-old guard, who moved to the Suns and the Charlotte Hornets last season, averaged 7.1 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 40 games.

The Rockets focus on defensive lineup construction, putting huge scoring responsibility on Kevin Durant's shoulders. Some fans are worried that Durant will have to undertake excessive scoring tasks in the absence of offensive helpers. Some fans said bluntly that KD averaged another 30 points per game to support the team's offense.

Rici Rubio signed with Juventus Badalona

According to US media reports, Rici Rubio did not choose to retire after leaving the NBA. He has signed a contract with Spanish team Juventus Badalona.

Rubio ended his NBA career in January 2024, returned to his home country of Spain, and played for Barcelona for the rest of that season.

Joining Juventus Badalona is a successful return for Rubio. His career began with Juventus until his signing in Barcelona in 2009. Rubio was selected with the fifth overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft, playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Utah Jazz, the Phoenix Suns and the Cleveland Cavaliers, averaging 10.8 points and 7.4 assists in 698 career games.
