Paul led the team to a complete victory over Harden!

The Los Angeles Clippers ushered in a preseason contest with the Sacramento Kings on the road. Both sides sent their main players to play, but the Clippers took the initiative to change their lineup, allowing Jones and Miller to join the starting lineup to partner Harden, Leonard and Zubac. New aid Collins came on as a substitute.

Not only did this lineup adjustment not have a good effect, but it made several starting players uncomfortable. Harden and Leonard jointly made 0 of 10 shots from the outside. In terms of offensive organization, although the two new players who entered the starting lineup performed well, Harden only sent out 3 assists.

On the other hand, the bench lineup, which has always lacked offensive firepower, broke out collectively under the leadership of Chris Paul. Collins being pushed to the bench obviously inspired his fighting spirit. He scored 24 points and 6 rebounds on 7-of-8 shooting in just 18 minutes.

Lopez, another new inside player, also scored 16 points and 4 rebounds on 4 of 5 shots from outside. Dunn and Batum also scored.

Paul, who was in average form in the previous games, once again showed his mastery of controlling the field in this game. He also sent out 10 assists and scored two three-pointers in only 18 minutes of playing time. The five players on the substitute rotation directly outscored the starting lineup with less than 20 minutes of playing time. I have to lament CP3's organizational ability.

The depth of the Clippers' lineup in the new season is very scary. Bill and Bogdanovic have not yet returned. Just imagine if the substitute lineup of Paul + Bogdanovic + Batum + Jones + Lopez averages 20 minutes per game and is no less effective than the starting lineup of a weak team. His configuration during the peak period of the Clippers was no more than this.
