On May 16, the Warriors held a season summary meeting, and Kumingga attended and was interviewed.

Speaking about whether you need to know in advance that you are still in the rotation, Kumingga said, "I don't know what the future will be. Any player wants to know this before entering the new season, and I'm looking forward to it. I know there will be an answer."

Speaking about the possibility of leaving the team and the relationship with head coach Cole, Kumingga said, "Like I told them, we need time to clarify our minds. We have had ups and downs, but you know, it was him who helped me get to where I am today. We have had many wonderful moments."

Regarding his ups and downs this season, Kumingga said: "It's very difficult. After returning to a completely different team, I have to figure out how to play a role in the new system. I have experienced difficult moments."

In the second round series where the Warriors lost to the Timberwolves 1-4, Kumingga averaged 27.4 minutes per game, averaged 20.8 points, 3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game, shooting percentage of 54.3%, 42.1% from three-pointers, and 74% from free throws.
