Interesting, a man who looks like Rockets Jaylen Green was photographed heading to Cancun

According to a video, Stephen Curry and Golden State Warriors players sent Jaylen Green and Delaya Michel to Cancun.

Jaylen Green did not hide his performance in the Houston Rockets' seven-game playoffs. “Apart from that game, it was terrible, and I should have performed better,” he told reporters, noting that the second game was his only impressive performance. He scored 38 points in that game and led the Rockets to defeat the Golden State Warriors. But according to BleacherReport, in the following series, Green never scored more than 13 points, averaging only 9.2 points, and his shooting percentage was even more dismal 31.1%.

Despite the ups and downs in the playoff debut, the 23-year-old defender still has reason to hold his head high. He led the Houston Rockets all season, with goals in every game, averaged 21 points per game, and his long-range shooting percentage also increased significantly. The Rockets locked in second place in the West, and the leap was unexpectedly fast.

Nevertheless, early exit of the playoffs has also triggered a tradition in the NBA: the "Cancun" joke. As promoted by the NBA Insider program team, this is a routine for all eliminated teams to go on beach vacations. Coincidentally, a TikTok user may have photographed Green playing this meme—someone allegedly photographed him with model and entrepreneur Delaya Michelle at the airport.

The short video shows a man who looks like Green is ordering a Popeyes Pipes, and next to it is a woman who many people think is Michelle.

The TikTok user joked, "They are going to Cancun, check out this", and finally said, "Brother, just kidding."

Although the video did not confirm the identity of the man, it was enough to make the Internet widely circulated.

criticize or calm down? The Cancun incident has sparked some controversy. Online commentators question whether Green should go to training rather than vacation, especially after such a turbulent playoff series. But Rockets general manager Rafael Stone defended him, reminding everyone that "a playoff series does not define a player."

Stone explained that the Warriors' game plan was clearly intended to limit Green, and stressed that it was difficult to make a comprehensive judgment based on a tough series. The Rockets' season may end earlier than expected, but Jaylen Green still holds the key to the team's future.

Whether he is basking in the sun with Delaya or not, he should at least get a few days off.
