On July 17, according to ESPN reporter Shams, the Milwaukee Bucks signed free agent Chris Livingston with a one-year contract of 2.3 million. He is the rookie with the 58th pick in the second round in 2023. He initially signed a four-year contract with the Bucks but was cut by the Bucks two weeks ago. The Bucks have signed him back now and he has received a full guaranteed salary for three consecutive seasons.

It is reported that the Bucks signed back to Livingston because he performed well in the summer league, averaging 20 points and 5.3 rebounds, a shooting percentage of 50%, and a three-point shooting percentage of 37.5%. The Bucks believe that the young Livingston can still make some contributions to the team.

The Bucks also officially announced the signing of free agent Cole Anthony earlier. He joined the Bucks with a base salary of 5.68 million in two years. The salary next season is only $2.66 million. It has to be said that the Bucks general manager Jon Horst is too awesome.

Next season, Antetokounmpo, Turner, Portis and Kuzma will occupy 115 million space, and cut Lillard+ and Misic to generate 29.19 million in dead money, but Horst is still operating wildly: Porter Jr. 5.13 million, Rollins 4 million, Trent 3.7 million, Prince 3.3 million, Himes 2.6 million, Anthony 2.66 million, Livingston 2.3 million, and Harris 3.63 million. After signing Livingston, the Bucks already have 15+3 rosters, with a total salary of 176 million next season, and it is easy to have 12 million left to the luxury tax line of 188 million.

This 15+3 roster: Antetokounmpo, Turner, Kuzma, Portis, Porter Jr., Rollins, Harris, Prince, Anthony, Trent, Himes, AJ Green, Livingston, Jackson Jr., Taylor Smith; Hills, Nancy, Booye (three two-way contracts)

Bucks general manager Horst also said: The team's superstar Giannis has hope to play starting point guard next season, and the elite Giannis is gradually becoming a real point guard, and he can control the offensive rhythm. Doug Rivers also holds the same view. He believes that Giannis' holding the ball makes the team more dynamic and difficult to defend.
