On May 6, ESPN famous reporter Brian Windhorst reported on the show that Suns star Devin Booker is willing to renew his contract with the team in advance, hoping to end his life in the Suns.

Brian Windhorst said: When talking about Devin Booker, he can ask for a two-year contract renewal of about $150 million. If the Suns are willing to provide such a contract, Booker is willing to sign it. I'm sure he will, and he won't go anywhere. I don't care if any of them can get 75 first-round picks (an exaggerated statement about trading the chips Booker can get).

According to previous reports, the Sun is expected to provide Booker with a maximum salary renewal of $149.8 million for two years. Booker's existing contract will expire in 2028. His salary this season is $49.21 million, and his next three seasons will be $53.14 million, $57.08 million and $61.02 million respectively. The total contract amount in three years exceeds $170 million. This summer, Booker is eligible to renew his 2-year, $149.8 million max contract with the Suns in advance.

Suns boss Ishbiya has made many statements that Booker is the only non-sale product in the team. He plans to continue to build a team around Booker, and his future goal is to compete for the championship; Booker has also expressed his willingness to live in Phoenix.

The Suns ranked 11th in the Western Conference with 36 wins and 46 losses this season, missing the playoffs and playoffs early. Booker played 75 regular season games for the Suns, averaging 25.6 points, 4.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game.

Since his 10-year NBA career, Booker has been playing for the Suns, selected for the All-Star four times, selected for the Best Team twice, won the Player of the Month three times, won the three-point contest championship once, and followed the American men's basketball team to win the Olympic gold medal twice.
