25-26 NBA regular season Western Conference ranking predictions

The 25-26 NBA regular season is about to start. Before the start of the season, various media in the United States will make so-called regular season record ranking predictions. The editor will also boldly predict the top eight in the Western Conference. The competition in the Western Conference next season should be unprecedentedly fierce.
Personally, I feel that the Thunder will be number one in the Western Conference regular season next season. As the defending champion Thunder, the personnel composition is relatively stable, but it may be difficult for the Thunder to achieve such a good result of 68 wins. The Thunder will definitely encounter more difficulties in the regular season next season. Can this relatively young team survive it?
The second player in the Western Conference will be given to the Nuggets. Through this summer's operation, the Nuggets' lineup depth has been somewhat strengthened. The Nuggets' strategy next season will most likely be to win enough games as early as possible in the regular season and give the main players some rest opportunities at the end of the season. However, it is not easy to do this in the cruel Western Conference.
The Rockets unexpectedly finished second in the Western Conference regular season in the 24-25 season. However, in the 25-26 season, I personally feel that the Rockets' performance may have some ups and downs. The addition of Durant has greatly increased the Rockets' attention, but this team still has a lot to do if they want to compete for the championship.
The upper limit of the Timberwolves should depend on how much Edwards grows, but the lower limit of this team should be very high. Personally, I think the Timberwolves have a chance to reach the top four in the Western Conference.
The fifth player in the Western Conference will be given to the Los Angeles Clippers. If the Clippers don't perform well next season, the team will most likely have to start over from scratch. Personally, I can only rate the Clippers' operations this summer as being average.
Because Irving's return date has not yet been determined, the Mavericks' regular season record next season is full of variables. Although it seems that there are many available players, Kidd's integration of this team is still not in the best state. Being able to reach the top six in the Western Conference should be very good for the Mavericks.
The Lakers' signings this summer can only be regarded as mediocre. Ayton's arrival can barely help fill the hole for the Lakers' fifth position. The Lakers' record is closely related to the attendance rate of Doncic and Lao James, but the editor does not have enough confidence in these two players. Seventh should be a more reasonable regular season ranking for the Lakers.
The Warriors can be described as mediocre this summer. They have successfully raised their average age to a new height. ESPN actually predicted that the Warriors will rank second in the Western Conference next season. This really shocked the editor. The Warriors' performance should not change much from the 24-25 season. It would be great for the Warriors to finish eighth in the Western Conference.
