October 24th Pisa head coach Alberto Gilardino was interviewed before the away game against AC Milan. He talked about the game, the work of opponent coach Allegri and the feeling of returning to San Siro.

Q: What kind of mentality does the team need to have in the match at San Siro tomorrow night?

Gilardino: When we step onto the San Siro Stadium tomorrow night, we must bring happiness on a sporting level and a huge sense of pride in competing against the top team. We know the quality of Milan and we have to be very humble in the defensive phase but also aware when we have the ball. We know who we are playing but in football nothing is impossible. I need everyone. Those who can play and are in good form will be my pick.

Q: How do you evaluate the current AC Milan?

Ghilardino: Milan? We are talking about a team that has rediscovered its defensive compactness, thanks to Allegri. He improved the quality of individual players because he knew his players could make a difference, he brought his mentality in a very short period of time and he was a reference point for everyone.

Q: You have played in Milan, how does it feel to return to San Siro?

Gilardino: My red and black career? Milan have been a very beautiful part of my life and career and it feels special to meet them again, which is normal, but it's always a privilege to come back to a place that for me is one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world.
