"I came back because the (previous) journey was not completed and I couldn't leave when Lazio had problems."

"I resigned at the time because I had some personal problems that prevented me from dealing with the problems of the football world, so I couldn't give what I wanted to give. And now, I know I can do it."

Due to personal reasons, Sarri has been away from football for several months.

"In the first few months of unemployment, I was completely unfocused on football; and in the last two or three months, I watched 1,000 games and 1,000 players, only to find that the transfer market was closed."

"In Covilciano (Technical Centre of the Italian Football Association), they should mandate the coaches to coach in Naples for at least one year. This is very meaningful, because it is a very special thing."
