R.I.P. Boca Juniors coach and former Argentina international Russo passed away at the age of 69

On October 9, according to Argentinian media TYC, Boca Juniors coach Miguel Angel Russo passed away.
TYC confirmed that Boca Juniors coach Russo, who had been battling cancer for a long time, passed away yesterday (October 8) afternoon local time at the age of 69.
Russo served as a defensive midfielder during his playing days. He only played for one club, Estudiantes of La Plata, and played 17 games for the Argentine national team.
Russo took up coaching after retiring and has coached Lanus, Estudiantes of La Plata, Rosario Central, Boca Juniors, San Lorenzo, Atlético Argentina, Sarsfield, Riyadh Victory and many other clubs. He took over Boca Juniors for the second time in June this year and led the team to a record of 3 wins, 7 draws and 3 losses.
