Manchester United is getting closer to reaching an agreement

It is reported that Manchester United is "one step closer" to finding the "important goal" of the midfielder and is "full of confidence" in the price they must pay.

Manchester United performed poorly in the Premier League this season and is currently ranked 14th in the league, winning only 10 games in 34 games.

But in the European arena, the Red Devils' situation is getting more and more difficult. In the UEFA Europa League quarterfinal, Lyon led the way with a total score of 6-4, with only six minutes left to be eliminated, but Bruno Fernandez, Kobe Manu and Harry Maguire turned the situation around in the final minutes.

Indeed, they won 7-6 in stoppage time to advance to the semi-finals and defeated Athletic Bilbao 3-0 in the first leg, winning themselves the favorable conditions for advancing to the finals. Manchester United's progress in the European arena will undoubtedly help them in the transfer market.

According to GIVEMESPORT, since they have entered the Europa League final, they are "one step closer" to signing Atlanta midfielder Ederson.

In fact, winning the UEFA Cup will "make them more capable of meeting Atlanta's financial needs". The Europa League champion will receive a prize of about £11 million and the runner-up will receive a prize of about £6 million, which will help the team signing.

Ederson is said to be a "important target" and his contract is about to enter its final two years. United knows that a lack of financial support will prevent them from signing him, but they are "confident" to sign him for less than £50m.

So the Red Devils may pay more than one-fifth of the transfer fee with the money they don't currently have, but if they win the Europa League, they will make that money.

People also believe that the midfielder who has participated in nine Champions League games this season is more likely to be "heart-willed" about the prospect of transferring to Old Trafford if Manchester United qualifies for the top European tournaments. This will be the case if they win the Europa League.

Manchester United is said to want to negotiate a transfer in the coming months, and the trophy may be the catalyst.
