Post: Amorin is dissatisfied with Onana s injury to play ball and return to the team, and makes a decision with the director to give up the player

September 10th The Post wrote an article to reveal the inside story of Onana's departure, saying that Amorin and Manchester United football director decided to give up Onana, and Ratcliff supported their decision. In addition, Amorin was dissatisfied with Onana running to play wild football during the holidays and was injured after returning to the team.

Jim Ratcliffe supported the decision to abandon Andre Onana as Manchester United's number one goalkeeper, which surprised the Cameroon international.

After being replaced by Baindel in the main position, Onana will soon join the Turkish team Trabzon Sports on loan, with the loan period until the end of this season. Meanwhile, Manchester United signed Lamons from Antwerp for £21.7 million as the new main goalkeeper.

It is reported that coach Amorin is dissatisfied with Onana because after Onana returned from Cameroon, he suffered a hamstring tear the second day of pre-season training. A previous video showed him and his friends playing wild balls on a muddy temporary field, and they were playing in a non-goalkeeper position.

Amorin also worried that Onana's situation would distract him while Belgian goalkeeper Ramens was adapting to the team. So he and football director Jason Wilcox made the decision to leave Onana, which was supported by Ratcliffe.

It is understood that Onana had expected himself to stay at Old Trafford because Monaco gave up introducing him this summer due to Manchester United's £30m asking price two years after signing him from Inter Milan for £55m.

But when the 29-year-old goalkeeper was left out of the roster in his season's debut against Arsenal after recovering from a hamstring injury, he began to worry. And when Baindel continued to start in the second game against Fulham, his worries grew day by day.

Onana regained the start in the League Cup against Grimsby, but in that humiliating penalty loss, his turnover became "the last straw that broke the camel's back." Five days later, Manchester United signed Lamons and told Onana that it would be better to find a new club for himself.

Since the transfer window of mainstream European leagues was closed at that time, only a few countries such as Türkiye and Saudi Arabia were still open, his choice was very limited. However, negotiations on loan to Trabzon Sports are progressing rapidly.

The Turkish club is expected to sign the final documents by Friday's deadline, while Onana is scheduled to fly from Paris to Trabzon on Thursday. Under the terms of the loan, his salary will double and is expected to make his debut against Fenerbahce on Sunday.

He will be with Cameroon goalkeeper coach and Onana's friend Carlos Cameni, who is negotiating with Trabzon Sports as part of the deal.

It is reported that Onana will live with his brother Christian in Türkiye and rent out his mansion in Hale. His wife, Melanie and three daughters will allocate their living time between Trabzon and their new home in Boston, USA.
