May 26th News Recently, "Everything" talked about Vallejo, who will leave Real Madrid after the end of this season. The player played for the club for only 2,000 minutes but won 13 championships with the team.

Although not taking over the big headlines, this Saturday will also be Vallejo's farewell moment. His name doesn't fall into any particular category: neither a legendary figure like Ancelotti or Modric, nor a captain like Vazquez. These three players will end their stage at Real Madrid. However, few players in the world can leave the club with such brilliant results like Vallejo.

Back then, Vallejo was considered a great star of hope for Spanish football. As a decisive centre-back, he became the captain of Zaragoza at the age of 18. However, his seemingly rising career like a Rocket, ended up only at the player stage with great potential, whether at the club or national team level. It was this potential that allowed Real Madrid to defeat many of the top European teams when they signed him in 2015.

However, since his debut in Real Madrid jersey in 2015, Vallejo has only made 34 appearances, totaling about 2,000 minutes. He is always the last choice in the rotation, and this year he has almost no chance of playing in the league. Although Ancelotti faced many injuries on the defensive end, Vallejo has never been able to get more opportunities. Still, he can proudly say he won 13 titles.

In other words, he wins one championship in every 1.7 games on average. These honors include a La Liga title, a Copa del Rey title, two Super Cup titles in Spain, three European Super Cup titles, three Club World Cup titles, two Champions League titles and most recently, the Intercontinental Cup titles. During this period, he was also on loan to Wolves, spending a highlight in Granada, and his most recent loan experience was disappointing.

Vallejo has always been loved by the locker room and has been protected by his teammates in difficult times. He was the captain of youth teams at all levels in Spain, winning the U19 European Cup, the U21 European Cup and the silver medal in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. These three medals further enriched his brilliant achievements.

However, Vallejo would rather have fewer trophys and more chances to play, just like he did in his 2022 match against Manchester City. Despite a long lack of game opportunities, he became the unexpected protagonist in that epic victory. He made a substitute in the 115th minute, facing opponents such as Foden, Gallish and Sterling, helping the team complete another reversal.

That experience was just a phantom, and soon he returned to the bench. Vallejo, 28, needs to find a team willing to give him more opportunities to play if he wants to stay in the top league.

At the end of the season, he formed a rare pair with Jacob Ramon and appeared against Alaves when Real Madrid led 3-0 and fans asked for a substitution, which almost got turned around by his opponent.

Ancelotti explained when asked about Vallejo's condition and limited play opportunities: "He has no problems and he trains well. But his contract is about to expire, and we would rather give young players more opportunities."

At least, Vallejo gave Jacob Ramon an assist against Mallorca and started again in Sevilla after nearly 1,100 days. He finished his last appearance against Real Sociedad and ended his journey at Real Madrid, leaving with a record of one championship in every 1.7 games.
