May 4th, Jeddah defeated Kawasaki forward 2-0 in the AFC Champions League final, winning the first AFC trophy in the team's history. According to Saudi media Middle East News, the team will reward each player with a prize of 200,000 riyals (about 47,300 euros).
reported that the Sports Minister said that he would reward each Jeddah national player who won the AFC Champions League with 200,000 rials. The previous semi-final prize was 100,000 rials, so each player could receive a total of 300,000 rials (about 70,800 euros).
