In the early hours of this morning, November 25, Manchester United lost 0-1 at home to 10-man Everton. Manchester United legend Gary Neville criticized Luke Shaw's performance in the second half.

Neville said: "Manchester United put five defenders in the backcourt, why? As a result, they didn't win the first point, and they didn't get the second point. It's really shameful."

"Luke Shaw started to move forward, but to be clear, he was basically dilly-dallying. His performance in the past 20 minutes has always annoyed me, and I have to say it. Look at him, you can't play like this."

"You should rush forward with all your strength. I don't care about the tactical arrangement. His behavior is a waste of time. You can't fool anyone. I can't accept it."

Neville also expressed his opinion on the decision of referee Tony Harrington to show Gueye a red card in the first half at Old Trafford. He said: "The conflict between Gueye and his teammate Michael Keane. Conflicts between teammates are always ugly."

"Gueye walked towards Keane, but Keane didn't actually react. He just pushed. The situation was not serious, really not serious. To be honest, I think Pickford did a good job in dispelling the conflict."

Former Everton coach Martinez insisted that the referee had no choice but to show Gueye a red card. He said: "No, I am surprised, because the defense needs to maintain intensity and there are people in the penalty area in this case."

"The coordination problem between the two is obviously a misunderstanding. It is obviously a misunderstanding. Gueye wanted to handle the ball, but that wave action, that slap with an open palm."

"We have discussed it many times. I think the referee has no choice. According to the rules, any attack above the neck must be shown a red card."
