According to the exclusive disclosure of "Fabrizio Romano", Manchester City has officially asked Paris Saint-Germain for goalkeeper Donaluma, which is seen as a rainy day for Ederson's potential departure. The 26-year-old Italian goalkeeper has only one year left in contract with Paris and has been excluded from the European Super Cup roster this summer, sending a signal to leave the team. Although Paris priced it at 50 million euros, Manchester City will only start negotiations under the premise of Ederson's transfer. Data shows that Donalou's success rate of Champions League saves last season was as high as 78.5% (Opta), and became the third fastest goalkeeper in Paris's history with 56 clean sheets.

Turk's media "Fanatik" revealed that Galatasaray has offered Manchester City 3 million euros to buy Ederson and reached an agreement with him on personal terms. Although the 31-year-old Brazilian goalkeeper has contracted until 2026, his playing time may be shortened with Trafford joining. It is worth noting that Ederson's long pass accuracy rate of Premier League last season (43.2%) fell by 7 percentage points (FBref) from his peak period, while Donnarumma's same data reached 51.8%, which is more in line with Guardiola's requirements for the goalkeeper's ability to play.

This goalkeeper's change has hidden tactical game. If the deal is completed, Manchester City will be given a younger replacement (Donnarumma 26) and good at hit points (35% success rate in career hit points), while Paris accelerates the younger lineup - they just signed 22-year-old Schwarier for 40 million euros. However, the Guardian pointed out that Chelsea and Manchester United are still waiting and watching, and the former is more inclined to introduce local goalkeeper Ramsdale. This game involves the goalkeeper Domino, which involves the giants of the three major leagues, may reshape the transfer market structure this summer.
