Maguire talks about criticism: I try not to pay attention to it, but it will be even more worrying when facing the younger generation

August 12th News Recently, in an exclusive interview with Ferdinand, Maguire talked about how he views criticism and advice to young players.
Maguire: "I try to ignore all this, although it's hard. Social media is really cruel today.
" But when you play for this club, you quickly realize that you may be praised, and in three months it may be completely different, changing so quickly.
"I try to ignore it. I think it's harder for the players' families because they see and bear it all.
"I don't mind taking the criticism at all. I've experienced enough criticism throughout my career. Especially when you are older but face the younger generation, it is even more worrying because you don’t know which direction things will develop…
"First of all, I have a good team around me, a happy family, and a very close relationship with my friends; these friends are all known to me since I was in school, and we have always maintained the same circle of friendship. This kind of support is very important to me.
"But I have always emphasized that you can only do what you can do. On the football field, you are judged and when you play for this club, everything is amplified and analyzed. Every goal is responsible for someone – even if that might be just a good goal, it will be blamed on someone.
"I think you'll get used to it all, but for a young man who just entered the circle... when you're a kid, you're not afraid, but once you make a few mistakes, after a few seasons, people start to look forward to you, that's the real test.
"I've seen a lot of players at Manchester United in a year or two, but by the second year it starts to be questioned and have a decline in form, which I think is very common. ”
