May 8th The Liverpool Echo wrote an article about Arnold's charity work in Liverpool.

A PR executive who has worked with Arnold for many years praised the generosity the star is about to leave Liverpool for years.

It is reported that Dan Hughes is responsible for managing the media relations of many well-known people, including Arnold. He has been working with Arnold and his brother Taylor for four years. Hughes also cooperated with Arnold and the Reds legend Carragher to jointly promote some football-related charity projects. Since its inception in 2021, these charitable projects have raised more than £1 million in funding for disadvantaged youth in the region through the help of Arnold and other well-known sports stars such as Gerald, Rooney and Reds dual stars Elliott and Robertson.

The annual dinner of these charities was held at the Titanic Hotel in the city centre last November, raising about £150,000 that night to support Zoe House, when the hospice was working to maintain the funds needed to continue to help families with terminally ill children.

Hughes emphasized Arnold's willingness to give back to charity in Merseyside and beyond, saying: "He fulfilled the dream of every young man: he won all the honors in a golden age and engraved his name into the history of Liverpool Football Club. Off the court, Arnold and his family's commitment to Liverpool City were equally well fulfilled. They support local causes in a low profile, humble and full manner. Full of love and never seeking praise. He is not just a world-class player, but a truly great man. Everyone regrets seeing him leave, but as he opens a new chapter in Real Madrid, I have no doubt that he will further consolidate his position as a European superstar. "

This Monday, Arnold confirmed that he would leave Liverpool after his contract expires on June 30, ending his 20-year ties with the club. Real Madrid is currently negotiating with the Reds, hoping to sign the England international before his contract officially ends in order to get him to participate in the Club World Cup in the United States next month. Arnold said in an interview with Liverpool's official website that he knew his decision would be criticized by some fans, but he will leave Anfield with two Premier League titles, 2019 Champions League and Club World Cup titles, two League Cup titles and 2022 FA Cup titles.
