Exclusive with the team: Real Sociedad owes Suvimendi’s parent club 1 million in royalties + suppresses its youth training

Hupu, October 31, Sun News Arsenal and team reporter Jordan Davis wrote an exclusive column this week.

Arsenal midfielder Martin Suvemendi is embroiled in a huge dispute between his two old clubs, Real Sociedad and Antiguoco.

The 26-year-old Suvemendi has performed well since joining Arsenal from Real Sociedad for £51 million this summer, helping the team lead by 4 points in the Premier League standings.

But Suvimendi's youth training club Antiguco has taken the matter to court, claiming that Real Sociedad owes them the £870,000 (€1 million) transfer fee that was part of the deal that brought the Spanish player to London last summer.

Roberto Montiel, Antiguco's technical director, said: "Currently, the relationship between Real Sociedad and us is very bad. Our contract with Real Sociedad expires in 2020. Since then, we have reached an agreement with Athletic Bilbao.

When Suvimendi joined Real Sociedad, the two parties agreed that if he transferred, We will receive 5% of the transfer fee, up to 1 million euros, as compensation.

In view of their approach, we have decided not to renew the contract because we feel that we have been unfairly treated."

Suvimendi spent five years in the Antiguco youth training camp and moved to Real Sociedad, which also belongs to the Basque Country. As a teenager, he briefly returned to Antiguco on loan, and Arsenal coach Arteta also started his youth training career in the Antiguco youth training camp.

Antiguco coach Montiel criticized Real Sociedad, adding:

"They are bent on suppressing us at every level. They want to make us weaker and weaker. And the Gipuzcoa Provincial Council has enacted a 'territorial' law against Real Sociedad.

This means that no boy or girl living within 5 kilometers of San Sebastian, in the age group under 14 years old, can sign About Antiguco.

In other words, no boy or girl from San Sebastian and the surrounding area can sign with us, even if their parents want them to join us.

This is equivalent to saying that no kid from the London suburbs under the age group of 14 can sign for any club in London.

Real Sociedad have charged Martin Suvimendi from Assen. The transfer fee was paid, but the 5% share we deserved was not paid according to the agreement.

We have filed a lawsuit in court.

They insist on not paying us. This money is very important to us because we had a bad relationship with Real Sociedad last season. , this is another example. We had planned to hold an official event to honor Martin's achievements in sport, but Real Sociedad refused to authorize him to receive the award.

We have agreed with Martin that the event will be held after the end of the season, and I do not think that Mikel Arteta, the former Antigoco player, will cause any problems.
