Barcelona is planning a major adjustment to the squad this summer, with as many as six players likely to leave the club. According to Spanish media Fichajes, the board hopes to ease salary pressure by selling some players and make financial space for upcoming new players.

The players on the roster include: Ansu Fati, Ronald Araujo, Pau Victor, Andreas Christensen, Eric Garcia and Pablo Torre. Some of these players are important members of the team, but due to financial reality, Barcelona has to make difficult choices.

Among them, Araujo and Eric Garcia will only be released when they receive heavy offers from top European clubs. Although clubs are not willing to lose them, this may be an inevitable choice in the current economic environment.

Club Chairman Joan Laporta is satisfied with his results this season, especially as the team won the triple-winning championship in domestic competitions and reached the Champions League semi-finals. This manifestation brings confidence to management and lays the foundation for future strategic deployment.

At present, one of Barcelona's top priorities is to ensure the long-term future of 17-year-old genius Lamine Yamal. Although he is still young, Yamal has shown great competitive and commercial value. He is about to sign a five-year contract to lock in his position as the club's future core.

At the same time, Ansu Fati's departure is almost a foregone conclusion, and the fate of other players remains to be clarified. Head coach Hans Flick and athletic director Deco will meet in the near future to decide on the final lineup adjustment plan. While Flick wants to focus on the court affairs, these decisions can no longer be delayed in the face of a pressing transfer window.

If Barcelona can sign Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah, then Christensen may be a saleable target. In addition, Deco tends to sell young players through repurchase terms rather than simply renting out. For example, Torre attracted the attention of Villarreal and Real Sociedad.

It is worth mentioning that Barcelona hopes that Araujo can attract a high offer, and his departure will bring considerable income to the club. As for Eric Garcia, he is likely to stay on the team unless there are giants who make huge signing requests.

Overall, this summer is crucial for the future development of Barcelona. A series of potential personnel changes not only concern short-term competitiveness, but also affect the club's strategic layout in the next few years.
